EmuHub Trust & Safety Guarantee
Built by enthusiasts, committed to safe, transparent emulation on Android.
1. Direct official sources only
The emulation scene is constantly targeted by repackagers who clone open-source emulators to inject adware, tracking SDKs, or malicious code. EmuHub was built specifically to combat this.
Every emulator listing points directly to the developer's own source: their GitHub or GitLab release, official website, or Google Play listing. We never rehost, patch, or alter emulator files. When you tap download, the file comes straight from the author.
2. Strict anti-piracy policy (zero ROMs)
EmuHub is an independent directory of emulator software.
We do not host, link to, or distribute copyrighted game ROMs, ISOs, or proprietary BIOS files. Requests for pirated software or commercial game files are rejected.
3. The EmuHub Android companion app
The optional EmuHub app is a lightweight companion that loads this same catalog and can tell you which emulators are already installed on your phone.
It has no access to your personal files, photos, camera, microphone, contacts, or location. It only asks for what its features need: internet access, seeing which apps are installed (to show "Installed"), permission to install emulators you choose, and optional notifications for updates.
Every release is signed with the same EmuHub developer key, so Android will refuse any tampered copy as an update.
4. Verify downloads yourself
Each download shows where it comes from (for example a github.com release page). You can scan any file on VirusTotal or compare it with the developer's published checksum.
5. False positives & security contact
